Quiet and shy, Anri comes from a poor, fatherless family. He has aura that seems to invite teasing/bullying, and is sometimes mistaken for a girl. He has a habit of repeating some phrases three times. ("I'm sorry!" three times instead of one, for example.) He can see ghosts, and it is easy for them to possess him. Musical talent seems to run in his family, and he plays the flute.

Anri also came to Nyuusei Gakuen as a scholarship student. At the all-male school, he finds himself getting presents from his classmates. @_@
